Divorce Party at Ball & Chain
Divorce Coach Debbie Martinez invites singles to celebrate new beginnings and toast an ex ‘goodbye’ during her second Divorce Party taking place at Ball & Chain Miami on Thursday, December 11th from 6-9 p.m. Martinez hosted “Miami’s first divorce party” earlier this summer and had such tremendous positive feedback; she decided to make it a quarterly event.
Guests will enjoy live music and entertainment, sweets that scream, “I did, and I’m done,” soothing sips courtesy of Arctic Wines, and special “Alimony-tinis”, “Screw-them-Drivers” and “Run Baby Run” cocktails courtesy of Monte Carlo Vodka to celebrate the occasion. Guests are also invited to help cut the divorce cake and participate in a Fire Pit Ceremony, where they can release old pictures and memories into a hot blaze while sending out positive wishes for the future.
Ladies are encouraged to trade-in their used wedding gowns for a complimentary “Moving On Box,” which is also available for purchase at Standstrongwoman.com. The clever box contains 10 items including rose-colored glasses, a compass and whistle to guide divorcées on their journey, a tiara, sexy and single napkins, a squeezable donkey (jackass), the ultimate stressreliever and a nutcracker. The men’s version of this eclectic gift box is available with the trade-in of an old tuxedo. The box includes a white t-shirt to replace the shirt she took off his back, small sewing kit for a quick-fix, men’s cookbook, “How to Clean Practically Anything” guide, a teddy bear for lonely nights, emergency date kit for not-so-lonely nights, a CD to set themood and massage oil to set someone else’s mood, too. The donated wedding dresses and tuxedos will be donated to charity.
